The Rundown: Johnny returns from the grave and reveals a bigger conspiracy to the group.

Much to the surprise of his oldest friends, Johnny returns in his Caliburn suit and they are naturally upset at the revelation. After some moments of tension, Johnny explains why and how he faked his death and how everything leads back to the baby Kasia is holding and what his former partner plans to do with it and his technology.
At the same time, Wagner is working on the next part of her plan. A plan that includes more cloned babies and a new experimental suit that works autonomously without input from Johnny. As his friends prepare to stop this from happening, Wagner sends the suit out to destroy them as she begins to take bids from some powerful people.
The Story: Warren and Remender continue to build great tension and suspense throughout the story and the reveal at the beginning of this issue is done brilliantly. I love seeing the events through Johnny’s eyes and the reveal of what Wagner is doing with his tech is awesome. There is an immediacy to the events of this story and everything leads to a great cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Mobili creates beautiful visual moments throughout the issue. From the stunned emotions of Johnny’s return to the menace of Wagner, the art in this issue is beautifully done.
